Helping those who need us the most…

Every day in the US, 47 children are diagnosed with cancer. It is devastating to not only the child but the entire family. Our mission is to help infants and toddlers as well as their families get through the difficult journey of cancer treatment.

If you are the caregiver of a child four and under, please reach out to us through this referral form to see if we can help. All that we ask in return for the care packages we send out is a few minutes of your time to tell your story. These stories will tremendously help other families that are just starting their own. It also provides ideas for discussions on topics that aren’t really discussed anywhere else.

How much does this mean for families…

We received Leo's package yesterday! The amount of thought and care you put in it was evident. The card alone made me tear up. Leo is going to love playing with everything in there. He especially loves the cars. They were the first thing he grabbed when I showed him everything! All of the cars, he couldn't decide which to play with first! I love the cow hat. I crack up when he wears it. He just learned to say "moo" for a cow so it's even funnier and cuter when he sees the cow stuff you sent. I also love the baby sign book. Just in the last couple weeks he started signing a few things and I can't wait to teach him more! He is slow with talking still so the signs have helped him communicate much better (and the toys you sent are going to help him so much with learning his words too!). The pj's are perfect too. He has doctor visits coming up in the next few weeks and they are going to be cozy and make port access easy. I love them! My husband and I both enjoy the gifts you sent for us too. It was incredibly thoughtful for you to remember us. I am almost done with my current devotional and I can't wait to start reading the one you sent. I've been struggling with my emotions and have felt more scared than usual about our situation and I think that book will provide some comfort.

I want you to know how much it means to us that you considered our family for this care package and for hearing our story. I wish there were better words than thank you because it doesn't seem like enough. It's been such a rough time dealing with his diagnosis and the changes in our lives and the fact that someone cared enough to send us such thoughtful pieces of joy reminded me how much good there can be in the world. Thank you.

Your care package came just in time 🥹🥲 Ridley had a hard long day on Monday with a procedure along with 3 other chemos in one day and when we got home it was sitting on our deck. 💖

He lit up and loves it ALL! He constantly has been playing with his things. It’s all perfect for him!! 🥲🥲

The coffee came just in time too because I actually needed some and didn’t make hubby stop and get some because he didn’t get much sleep.

I will send you more pics when I get them it’s been a crazy week. But thank y’all so so much you are amazing and we will not forget!! It was so meaningful and makes our boy so happy and like a little boy again and that means everything!

I already have y’all’s decal on my car 💛🧡

He got his big box and is playing so hard. He loved everything in it and smiled the entire time! It came right on time too as he had a very bad day yesterday so it definitely made him forget all about that. What y’all do is truly amazing and such a blessing to those with littles that has cancer. It truly lights up their world to receive your packages 🧡

Updates…

On July 27th, we participated in the Carolina Custom Annual Car Show and Open House. They were a gracious host and were able to help us raise $3,000 toward our annual goal! We are so grateful to partner with them to not only raise awareness for pediatric cancer but for helping us fulfill our mission in trying to bring some hope and joy for these kids!

Unfortunately, Jeeptastic was cancelled. This brings our remaining fundraiser for 2024 to the Giving Tree Village which is part of the Christmas in Davidson, NC. We along with Benchmark Physical Therapy are showcasing a Christmas tree that will feature ornaments picked out by the families from this year. There will be in-person and online voting. Last year we placed second overall in funds raised. We would like to try and top that this year!

We are off for Wylie’s biannual scans. After we get back, we will be updating the Spotlight pages.

It has come to our attention that a person is using Wylie’s story as a means to further their agenda regarding Duke Energy and coal ash. If you do see postings regarding this, please contact us. We are not affiliated with this person nor does she have permission to use any images or information regarding Wylie.

If you are wondering about newsletters, we have not sent any out for a couple of months. It isn’t that we haven’t had anything to say. It is just making sure our funding is used properly and to the greatest benefit. You can still sign up for the newsletter, and once the actual list gets much larger we will continue again sending out monthly emails.

Current Fundraisers….

The new shirts are here! They, along with a few other older shirts, have been placed in the store. We ship anywhere in the US. These will be kept in stock so if your size runs out, just reach out to us that you are interested, and we can notify you when we receive the next shipment.

We have also purchased some rack cards. If anyone would like to place these at their business, please reach out to either one of us.

A little bit about us…

Wylie’s journey isn’t complete yet. It’s been a long and strenuous three years so far. Through it all, she has inspired us and brought joy and love to everyone she has met.
